Why should i choose salina ortho?
Salin Ortho is Central Kansas' largest Orthopedic's Practice serving Salina and the North Central Kansas region since 1973. do you accept my insurance plan?
We believe in serving the entire community, so we participate in most commercial insurance plans, as well as Medicare, Kansas Medicaid, Tricare and VA. While we will verify that your insurance can be used when you come in for your visit, to avoid unpleasasnt surprises, it is recommended that you verify with your insurance provider that you are in network before you make an appointment. Imaging or Surgery require advance planning and we will approve those ahead of time. Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
99% of the time, no! The vast majority of insurance plans do not require a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. That being said, there are some exceptions. Our staff are familiar with those, so just ask when you call. how can i request a prescription refill?
If there is no change, simply contact your pharmacy. If your prescription has run out and a new one is needed, call or text us at 785-823-2215 can i get an mri at your facility?
Yes. We have inpatient X-Ray and MRI imaging and testing services to ensure you get the right diagnosis and the right treatment. Our board-certified radiologists who specialize in orthopedics can perform same-day readings for MRI exams and provide reports back to the ordering physician. A physician's order is required for MRI services, either from your own physician or from our specialists. For more information about diagnostic imaging at Salina Ortho, please call one of the following: 785-404-4311 (for X-Ray) and 785-404-4381 (for MRI) do you take worker's compensation cases?
Yes, we do! We require your adjuster to call and schedule the first initial visit to ensure that we have all the information we need. After your consultation, we will communicate with your adjuster to obtain any authorizations that may be needed. |
