About Dr. GrauerholzDr. Grauerholz's journey to becoming an orthopaedic surgeon began in his hometown of Kensington, Kansas. Growing up on the family farm, he learned the value of hard work and dedication at a young age. However, an accident at the age of 14 left him with a complicated broken leg that required orthopaedic treatment.
Dr. Grauerholz was brought to Salina for treatment, where he met Dr. Kruckemyer, the orthopaedic surgeon who helped restore full function to his leg. Dr. Kruckemyer's expertise and compassionate care left a lasting impression on Dr. Grauerholz, inspiring him to pursue a career in orthopaedics so that he could help others in a similar way. After completing his education and training, Dr. Grauerholz returned to Salina and joined Dr. Kruckemyer's practice at the Orthopaedic Sports Health Clinic. Together, they provided top-quality orthopaedic care to patients in the community. Dr. Grauerholz's first hand experience as a patient provided him with a unique perspective and empathy for his patients, and he is dedicated to providing the same level of care and compassion that he had received from Dr. Kruckemyer. Dr. Grauerholz's contribution to the field of orthopaedics in Salina has been significant, and he has become known for his expertise in treating a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, with a specialization in hands, sports injuries and joint replacements. |
